Pouring pale yellow with a slight green tint, this first contender
from Argentina had moderately open nose of ripe pear, citrus fruits,
and a faint floral/nutty quality. Medium to full bodied, this wine
was quite ripe but had a clean fruit profile of yellow apples, peach,
lemon, and a spicy finish with good acidity. We have yet to find a
wine from Bodega Luigi Bosca that we didn’t like, even from their
first tier “La Linda” series, and here they seem to be in tune with
the kind of Chardonnay people are looking for these days: Crisp,
fruity and fresh with no oak influence.
