Vibrant yellow with medium saturation, this showed a nose of ripe apples, buttered oats, graham cracker and slight lactic character. The freshness of the apple fruit core, paired with some brighter lemon tones underneath, was the focus in this wine, though some spicy oak tones shown through. This had good acidity, and well integrated butter/oak tones that sat underneath. This is quite different from the Kunde "Nu" unoaked Chardonnay BLM had been carrying, but this style is quite appealing as well.
