| Modestly saturated; good ruby hue. An open nose; the ripe dark berry/black cherry aroma has mostly fresh tones with a touch of raspberry jam richness, and just a hint of cedary spice. Very nice. The mouth shows more of the fruit, both in the fresh and the jammy sides, with the oak coming through stronger with dark chocolate/dark roast coffee and cedar tastes. Okay. Good body, some richness, some matte tannins, with good acidity. |
