Pale gold with a faint green tint. An open nose; ripe apple/citrus aroma is characteristic Sauvignon, with good freshness, a lemon-like tanginess, and faint floral notes. Very nice indeed! The palate has similar attributes, showing fresh apple/lemon fruit, good minerality, with some sappy richness and length. Very tasty! Good body, some richness, dry, with modest-plus acidity.
A well balanced white with typical New Zealand refreshing qualities, yet some depth and richness. This should have a broad appeal to a number of palates.
