Very pale gold. Ripe, generous nose of lemon peel, fresh citrus blossom, tropical fruit and subtle spice. There is a certain candied sweetness on the nose as well. Light and lively on the palate with plenty of bright, tart acidity. Nicely balanced with a slight, pithy bitterness through the finish. Very refreshing.
With a pale yellow hue and slight green around the rim, this wine had an open nose of white flowers, pear, grapefruit, and a slight bready note, perhaps from some lees contact. Medium bodied, with moderate acidity, the floral tones carried over on the palate, along with yellow apple and tropical fruits, a spice note that lingered throughout the finish. Fruity and plump, but with decent refreshing acidity, this wine is made from grapes that often go into Cava, but it’s floral notes and soft personality made it taste almost more like a still Prosecco.
