This wine continues to turn out better than I imagined. By the standards of La Mouline, it has higher acidity than normal, but that component has served it well, preserving the freshness and guaranteeing a relatively slow evolution. The wine exhibits an intense, gamy, Syrah nose, superrich, ripe flavors, and a full-bodied, long finish. Anticipated maturity: now-2005. Last tasted 1/92.
